To investigate how people evaluate and form impressions about different social groups. This form includes detailed information on the research to help you decide whether or not to participate in this study. Please read it carefully and ask any questions you have before you agree to participate.
You will be asked to complete an image categorization task and answer questionnaires about yourself.
Your participation should take about 30 minutes.
Your participation in this research will contribute to the body of psychological knowledge about the relationships between different types of social knowledge. You will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of psychological research. In addition, you will receive information about previous research findings on the relationships between different types of social knowledge at the end of this study.
There are no foreseeable risks in this study greater than those encountered in daily social interactions.
Strict anonymity of all data will be upheld. Your responses will remain anonymous and will not be associated with any identifying information. Your informed consent will be kept separate from your responses to the questionnaires. The University of North Florida Institutional Review Board may inspect the project’s research records or its designees to ensure participants’ rights are being protected.
You will receive partial course credit through the SONA system for your participation.
Your participation in this research project is strictly voluntary. You do not have to participate. If you agree to participate you can withdraw at any time without penalty. You do not have to answer any question you find objectionable.
